Worship at Morialta is participatory! Our participation is very important to us and is supported by many people each week. Quite a number of us (41!) lead worship, read the Bible, arrange flowers, play music, sing, or operate audiovisual equipment to enable everyone to see and hear and to support our livestreaming, or welcome or serve coffee and tea afterwards. We inform the office in advance about when we could be available for rostering. This availability information is combined with other information to produce the rosters that are on the website and in the newsletter.

The aim of the team that produces the rosters is to ensure that everyone who wishes to participate in one of these roles is able to do so on a regular basis and feels valued for their contribution. Availability alone cannot ensure our appearance on the roster, because there may be other factors at play. Each time you receive your new roster for the upcoming 2 months, please check it and be in touch if you need to make changes.

If you need to request a change to a published roster at any time, please speak first to others who may be able to substitute for you. Then contact the relevant member of the roster team, i.e. the team leaders of the Worship and Faith Education Team (Margaret Cargill) or the Audio-Visual Leadership Team (John Secombe). They will be able to make the necessary changes and ensure the office, the website and the newsletter are updated.
