When infants are lost, either as a result of miscarriage , stillbirth or premature delivery, grieving parents wish to accord their lost child the dignity and love of a blessing and burial. Usually these infants are very small and not able to be dressed in readily available clothing. Wee Care is a group that extends its love and support for such families, by sewing tiny burial garments which are then gifted.
Morialta Uniting Church sponsors this group by making available facilities and space, free of charge, so that the group can meet regularly. Further support through monetary donations to this most compassionate project are always welcome.
