Each year Morialta runs a Lenten study in the weeks leading up to Easter. A number of small groups meet to consisder a series of studies or topics.
Studies have included Living the Question, Countering Pharoah.
Lent Event
This year’s study will be slightly different, using the Journey Guide associated with the Social Justice movement, Lent Event.
After Easter a group will meet to look at the study Embracing an Adult Faith. This is suitable for those looking to confirm or reaffirm their faith.
Other study groups are held during the year, depending on availability and interest. This year a group is looking at the Marcus Borg book, Reading the Bible again for the First Time. In 2010, this was a study of Marcus Borg’s book, The Heart of Christianity.
